Ace arrived at H-E-A-R-T with a smile so big it practically walked through the door before he did. He is, without exaggeration, one of the happiest dogs we’ve ever rescued. Every day is the best day of his life, and he makes sure everyone around him knows it. Ace was originally a stray who landed in one of our partner shelters. Now settled into his foster home, Ace is proving to be the full package: sweet, social, energetic, and incredibly loving.
Ace currently lives with a pack of middle‑aged to senior dogs and does beautifully with them, but his foster thinks he’d thrive with a younger, playful canine companion who can match his enthusiasm for zoomies, wrestling, and general joy.
Ace eats in his crate. He gets two meals a day (7 AM and 5 PM), one heaping cup each. He has no resource guarding, no fear issues, and no quirks beyond wanting to be as close to his humans as possible.
He loves:
Ace is a young, athletic Husky who needs daily physical and mental exercise. His foster takes him out several times a day to run and play, and he’d thrive with:
Ace is a Velcro dog in the best way. He wants to be with his people, loves affection, and happily snuggles in bed if allowed. He’s confident, curious, and not afraid of anything his foster has encountered so far.
Ace is ready for his forever family—one that will match his enthusiasm for life and appreciate the pure happiness he brings into every room. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you smile every single day, Ace is your boy.
~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
