We had the joy of rescuing this sweet girl from the shelter on Feb 15th. Brielle came to the shelter as a stray and was understandably fearful and defensive. But watching her come to life during her freedom break was truly heartwarming.
Brielle still has some hurdles to overcome. She's hesitant about having her neck handled and is a bit head shy. Her coat and behavior suggest she's experienced neglect and abuse in the past. But we believe in her inner Husky potential and were thrilled to receive kisses and love as she thanked us for her newfound freedom.
We are excited to see Brielle flourish in her foster home and it's going to be an honor to watch her transformation. If you are interested in adopting this lovely lady, please pre-apply on our website www.huskyrescueteam.org
Brielle is approximately two years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. She's currently located in MD, and we can arrange for her transport once she's ready for adoption.
Her eyes are simply amazing!
~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
