Jesse James, a 3 1/2 year-old, gray and white Siberian Husky has a soulful look that will tug at your heart and a spirit that will brighten your home.
Jesse was found as a stray in North Carolina and landed in a kill shelter where time was running out. When his number came up on the euthanasia list, we knew we had to act—and we did. That was nearly two years ago.
At the time, Jesse had muscle atrophy that gave him a quirky little gait. But with time, therapy, proper nutrition, and a whole lot of love, Jesse is now completely healthy and thriving. He’s matured beautifully during his time with us and has become a sweet, sensitive soul who’s adored by volunteers - he's a favorite!
💙 Jesse’s Ideal Home:
- A family or individual who can shower him with affection—he thrives on love and attention.
- He’d do well as an only dog if his people are around most of the time.
- He’s also a wonderful companion to other dogs and would enjoy a gentle playmate.
- A home where he can truly shine, be doted on, and finally feel like he belongs.
Jesse James would love to fill your days with his smile and his hugs.
Jesse is being fostered in NC. He can be transported within the Eastern US for an approved home. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccines and healthy.
~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
