Meet Shiloh: A Stunning, Sweet-Natured Siberian Husky with a Heart of Gold!

Shiloh is a two-year-old long-haired Siberian Husky who will capture your heart with her gorgeous coat, infectious smile, and incredible personality. This lovely girl is eager to please and has been through quite the journey to get where she is today.

Her Story:
Shiloh's life took a turn after she was surrendered by her previous owner—a tale that highlights her resilience and strength. She’s overcome heartbreak, including the loss of her mate, and now she’s ready to embark on a new chapter full of love and adventure with you.

Why Shiloh's So Special:
Shiloh is nearly perfect in every way! She’s:

• Dog-friendly: Loves playing with dogs her size (male or female) and enjoys rough, typical Husky-style play.
• Housebroken & Crate-Trained: The full package when it comes to manners.
• People-Loving: Great with humans of all ages, including respectful children.
• Active & Adventurous: She adores outdoor fun, cuddles, and even entertains herself with toys when needed!
• Talented: Shiloh knows basic commands and will "chuckle" (adorably loud) to grab your attention.

One important note: Shiloh’s prey drive is strong, so she cannot live with small animals. However, she thrives with active humans or playful canine friends who can match her energy and enthusiasm.

The Perfect Home for Shiloh:
While a fenced yard isn’t required, she needs committed adopters who will give her plenty of exercise and leashed potty breaks. She should never be off-leash for her safety. Shiloh’s long, luxurious coat will also require regular brushing to avoid matting—she’s a showstopper who needs her beauty routine!

• Weight: Currently 43 lbs., expected to reach about 50 lbs.
• Health: Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and in excellent shape.
• Location: Residing at our rescue center in Maryland but can be transported to the right home in the eastern US.

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
