Ever received a call from the Department of Child and Family Services? Sadly, we have. When children aren't being properly cared for, their pets often suffer too.
Meet Zayah, a 10-week-old puppy found in a home where her human siblings were being removed by DCFS. Thankfully, she was rescued before permanent damage could be done, but not before suffering cigarette burns.
Without intervention, Zayah would have ended up in an overcrowded shelter, which could be fatal for an unvaccinated pup. We stepped in, but now we need your help.
We are bursting at the seams, so we're urgently seeking an ADOPTER for Zayah!
To give Zayah the fresh start she deserves, we need:
Zayah's name means "new beginnings." Let's make that a reality for her. Who's ready to give her the forever home she needs?
~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
